New Board Members Sit On the Board of Trustees
This quarter, we welcome two new board members to Choctaw Memorial
Hospital Board of Trustees--Frankie Hinton, whose appointment to
the Board was on 1/26/09, and Tommy Butler, whose appointment to
the Board was also on 1/26/09.
Mr. Hinton is currently employed with Little Dixie Community
Action Agency as the Tourism and Parks Operations Director overseeing
four state parks in southeastern Oklahoma. He comes to the Hospital
with much experience in human resources management. Previously,
Mr. Hinton spent 31 years with Southwestern Bell Telephone as the
Human Resources District Director for North Texas. Soon after he
retired in July, 2000, Mr. Hinton returned to his hometown in Hugo.
In 2001, he was elected to be on the Hugo City Council, where he
subsequently became the Vice Mayor of Hugo for four years before
joining Little Dixie Community Action Agency.
Formerly, Mr. Butler worked at United Federal Savings and Loan as
a loan officer and as a branch manager for approximately eight years.
Later, he joined Little Dixie Community Action Agency as their
Financial Services Director for over seven years. He and his wife,
Jeanie, have owned and operated a convenience store in Ft. Towson
for the last twenty-six years.
These two board members join our current Board of Trustees:
Jack Cooley, Jackie Montgomery, Eddie Wood, Lawrence Testa,
and Judy Strickland. All these individuals play an important
part in the development and maintenance of Choctaw Memorial
Hospital trustee matters. We thank them for their dedication
and foresight to continue their efforts to improve Choctaw Memorial Hospital.
